Lynne was recently asked to give a talk at the annual conference of the Association of Ringing Teachers in Loughborough. The subject was St Clement’s ringing centre, both how it was set up and the current activities. Nikki Thomas from our ‘sister’ project, the Mancroft ringing discovery centre, did likewise; and we were joined by Hayley Young explaining to the eager listeners how the southwest residential course was set up. There was a lot of interest in all three projects.
There were several seminars over the weekend, a tour of the foundry, and the ART awards ceremony. This annual event is open to all, not just ART members, and is a good oportunity to network and learn… and enjoy yourself! Dave and Linda Johnson joined me from St Clement’s this year.
